The new Transitional Care Unit (TCU) at The Village of Redford was designed to help seniors recover from illness, return home, and live with full independence. Located on the beautifully-landscaped, extensive campus in Redford, MI, the unit features private rooms.
Rehabilitation programs have been designed to help each patient maximize their potential. Physical therapy, speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, restorative nursing, and specialized wound care are offered. The professional, licensed nursing staff and the specially-design facilities and equipment contribute to providing a comprehensive and inclusive program. The goal is to minimize time spent, and send patients home better and faster.
