PVM - St. John's Community Fund Awards $57,274 in 2018 Including Support of The Village of Hillside and Bay Connect

St. John’s Episcopal Church, a small summer chapel in Harbor Springs holds Sunday Services from mid-June through Labor Day Sunday for residents, summer residents and vacationers. In 1985, the Rev. Alfred R. Shands, III, established the St. John’s Community Fund to extend its ministry to the Harbor Springs-Petoskey community. The mission is to contribute to social and human service agencies with a 501(c)(3) tax exemption. Presbyterian Villages of Michigan would like to thank the St. John’s Community Fund for their 2018 support of The Village of Hillside and Bay Connect. A generous contribution was made to the Friendship Center of Harbor Springs to support daily exercise programs at the center in The Village of Hillside and the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation to cultivate Bay Connect, a program that links older adults with low incomes with support services including transportation.
