Since 1945 Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM) has been dedicated to one purpose: creating new possibilities for quality living for seniors across Michigan. As a faith-based nonprofit headquartered in Southfield, we serve seniors of all faiths and financial backgrounds through a network of 31 communities across the Lower Peninsula—supporting more than 7,500 residents with care, connection, and dignity.

We know that Senior Living and Senior Care are not one-size-fits-all. That’s why we offer a full continuum of options—Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Respite Care, Affordable Housing, and even resources that help you stay in your own home—designed to meet residents where they are and support them when their needs change.

Being a nonprofit means our mission is our north star, not our bottom line. Through innovative partnerships and deep roots in the communities we serve, we think beyond the traditional model of senior living to deliver something better—a home where neighbors become like family and where every resident is known, valued, and supported.

Affordable Housing is central to that commitment. Thome Rivertown in Detroit stands as a nationally recognized example of what’s possible—a trailblazing community that provides low-income seniors with a quality of life in retirement they never thought within reach.
