Center for Senior Independence (CSI)/PACE is now called PACE Southeast Michigan. The new name better describes the areas served by the program which is a joint venture of Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) and Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM).

PACE® stands for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. PACE programs are provider-sponsored health plans. PACE Southeast Michigan is committed to helping seniors 55 and older in their designated service area maintain good health and personal independence. The program’s purpose is to promote quality of life for frail seniors living in their community by offering care for their medical, social and physical needs.

“The things we provide – such as day health centers, transportation, in-home care, nutritionists, psychologists, and a pharmacy – allow older adults to remain independent,” says Mary Kummer Naber, President and CEO of PACE Southeast Michigan. “All of their health care, environmental, and psychosocial needs are met through this program.”
