SOUTHFIELD – Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM) has announced the election of Cynthia L.M. Johnson to the Board of Directors.

Johnson has an extensive background, including a Law Degree from Michigan State University to an M.P.H in Health Planning & Administration and Health Education from the University of Michigan. For over 24 years, Johnson has worked as an Attorney and Counselor of Law for mental and regular health care providers. Johnson has also worked on the Michigan Metro Girl Scouts Board of Directors. She is currently a Partner at Couzens, Lanskey, Fealk, Ellis, Roeder & Lazar, P.C.

“We are pleased to welcome Cynthia to the Board of Directors for the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. She has extensive knowledge about health care providers and is highly skilled in administration. We’re eager for her to help raise community awareness and build support for PVM by using her experience to make PVM a stronger community,” said PVM Board Chair Lynda Jeffries.

Other appointments made by the PVM Board Members include Kerri Lumetta Heydens to the Village of East Harbor (Chesterfield); Paul Brown and John E. Utley to the PVM Foundation (Southfield); and Lynn G Kenworthy at the Village of Spring Meadows (Jackson).
